Taking strong line on technical services

Dviation Technics extends its Line Maintenance network to Kota Kinabalu International Airport(KKIA) with the start of technical handling services for launch customer Royal Brunei Airlines(RBA). KKIA is the 3rd busiest airport in Malaysia and has been enjoying increasing traffic growth due in part to the many nature attractions the state of Sabah has to offer .

The expansion into Kota Kinabalu is also the first venture into East Malaysia for the Dviation Group. Customers in this region will now have access to the groups suite of one-stop solutions including technical training, manpower resources, maintenance services and more.

RBA is the national flag carrier for Brunei and operates the A320 and B787 aircraft types into KKIA. The intense preparations and setup of the Line Station was done in record time of 30 days to meet RBA’s tight operational datelines. This included stringent regulatory compliant audits and internal quality audits by RBA’s quality department. Prior to commencement of technical handling services, Dviation’s team of Licensed Aircraft Engineers and technicians had to undergo specialized training to ensure compliance of RBA’s procedures and requirements.

KKIA Line Station is currently headed by Station Manager, Mr. Johan Phelimon who is also a Licensed Aircraft Engineer himself. Together with his dedicated team, Dviation Technics is fully prepared to meet and surpass our Customers needs in the East Malaysia region. Come rain or shine, WE PUT YOU FIRST!
