
Dviation Technics Appointed to Support Riyadh Air’s Inaugural Southeast Asia Service
KUALA LUMPUR, 31 July 2026 – Dviation Technics is proud to announce its appointment as the line maintenance provider for Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s newest national airline, as the carrier launches its inaugural service to Kuala Lumpur, marking its first destination in the Southeast Asia region.
The inaugural flight, operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner powered by GEnx engines, arrived in Kuala Lumpur on 31 July 2026 following the airline’s official launch of its three-times-weekly service between Riyadh (RUH) and Kuala Lumpur (KUL).
As the appointed line maintenance provider at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Dviation Technics will deliver comprehensive line maintenance support, ensuring the aircraft operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Riyadh Air represents one of the most significant new airline launches in recent years and forms a key pillar of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy to transform the Kingdom into a global aviation hub. Backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), the airline aims to connect Riyadh to more than 100 destinations worldwide while setting new standards for guest experience and operational excellence.
